Adopting a shelter animal isn't just a great way to help the community, it's also a guaranteed way to find a new best friend. Dog introductions and adoptions by appointment only. Search our database of pets in need of new homes and find your perfect match. No-kill shelters do wonderful work, but as a result, are often inundated with pet surrenders. The mission of the Idaho Humane Society is to advocate for the welfare and responsible care of animals, protect them from neglect and cruelty, and promote humane education, awareness, and compassion. Every dollar donated is spent on pet food and care supplies that help feed and protect the animals IHS takes in. AWL of Elmore is a 501c3 nonprofit organization ran by unpaid volunteers, that is a voice for all Animals in Elmore County, Idaho. We provide Education to the public on a variety of topics.
